Today Svoge Municipality consists of one
administrative centre – town of Svoge
and 36 villages. The population of the
municipality is 21,697 people and of the city – 8562. The municipality has 17
mayoralties, 12 viceroyalty mayor and several smaller hamlets. The legislative
body of the Municipality Svoge is the Municipal Council, which consists of 21
councillors, headed by Aleksander Manolov. Mayor of Municipality Svoge from
30.10.2011 is Eng Joro Tsvetkov, chosen by the PP „GERB“. Deputy
mayors are Miladin Savov , Reneta
Krastanova and George Petkov. Secretary of the municipality is Maya
Manolova-Tashunova.
